April 12, 2006
  • of course, the venue will be the Mount Kinabalu…buy a ring and keep it well hidden until you reach the peak…Low’s peak is it? Propose to your girl on the peak…(I have seen people did that when I climbed Gunung Ledang…serious)
  • Scuba Diving..Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park…Ask the diving instructor to be your witness…haha….kiss like the lovely fish…i bet not many girls can resist this…
  • Er…Water rafting…get yourself drown…(choi…touch wood) Let the guide save you, then let the girl do Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the moment she kisses you, propose….(you have the risk that what if the guide tak sempat to save you..haha)
  • Carry your girl to the nearest hospital…yeah..on your back…by foot…..only if she is allergic to seafood and you manage to con her into eating…haha…how bad..
  • Er….I can’t think of any more methods le….any suggestions????

Four Weddings and One Funeral

April 8, 2006

I watched this movie yesterday. Very impressive..Hugh Grant is so damn young and handsome…any girls will fall for him…

But that is not my point today…

Anybody who follows my blog will have read about My housemate got naked in front of my SEG HWA senior story.

Bad news…i heard my senior, the leng lui doctor got married already…but the groom is not my housemate, but another doctor…too bad.

Mysterious Email again….

April 4, 2006

He look “sell fish” yet he is selfish…Out of middle of nowhere, there goes a trip to Pulau Redang. Hmm…I wonder he considers himself an organizer, co-organizer or just some bozo acting a hero? Anyone can tell me?

If you have such a thought, do voice up during the discussion and let everyone decide. Don’t pretend like your plan is going to suit all of us. You know what, to me, you do not respect anyone of us. For that particular reason, I don’t think I need to do so to you as well. It’s just too much and I will be the one to voice it up if no one dares to.

For some reason, I feel like you are trying to screw everything up. When everyone is trying to make an effort to foster a better relationship among our course mates, there comes a jerk like you. Trying to make your plan, your own plan and split SMM guys from participating the same graduation trip. You might think that it’s way to reduce budget, but the way I see is that you are organizing a “Graduation Trip by Gang”.

My advice to you, don’t try to be a hero from the back. There are heaps of chances that you can prove yourself to be good in organizing something everyone appreciates rather than acting like a fool at the back. You have a thought, voice up like a man. I am sure that the organizers can find something that suits everyone at the end.

Redang vs S & S

April 3, 2006

I do not understand why …

You do not attend the meeting when we decide where to go? You don’t feel welcomed or what?

You do not say out your preference and you go and create a substitute plan?

You don’t feel satisfied and don’t aprreciate what the organizers did? They have spent days if not weeks to make contact, paid the extra bill and went the extra mile to gather the informations….Now what, you trying to act like you are so noble just because your plan doesn’t clash with the original huh….

I understand that budget is a problem for everyone including myself…but people choose to voice out their problem…their dissatisfication…rather than hide your feelings and substitute people’s idea…haha

Well….redang is a good place, cheap and everyone can afford…..in that sense, I guess many can make it….a more realistic graduation trip I would say….hey…but not from you….WHY can’t you discuss with the organisers first?

Don’t you think that would be better, than splashing cold water now on their face?

It is like opening up a Giant beside your buddy’s small kedai runcit ler….who will care to buy a soap for RM2.00 when they can get RM1.30 in Giant…

Who will / or can fork out the extra money to go the extra mile…since there is a cheaper option le?

Again…I must apologise if what I wrote annoyed you….but this is my bloody blog…I have the owner’s right to crap here….

Malaysia Boleh

April 2, 2006

Today, I went to Stadium JB to watch this Asian Badminton Championship..The ticket costs me RM15…student price 50% ler..

The third match was the men singles final between Malaysia’s Lee Chong Wei and Thailand’s Boonsak ponsanak or what…

Obviously Lee Chong Wei is the better player here. He dominated the match. He has the pace and powerful and correct angle smash. Boonsak is good but not better….haha

But this is the very first time that I watched Malaysian plays in an international badminton match. LIVE!..The crowd was shouting ‘Malaysian Boleh’ all the while…giving the support to Lee….I was one of them also…

This is really the first time I feel the power of the phrase ‘Malaysia Boleh’..well…maybe I should watch more live matches….not too much EPL…haha

Well…Lee got the support he needed and won the match eventually in straight sets. Very impressive playing style. The crowd enjoyed watching him play. I think the singles coach from China has taken its effect on the national team…people call him Devil Coach…or what..

I would like to say this is the very right attitude / method to show Malaysia Boleh. Not by making the biggest cakes, roti canai, teh tarik or even building the world highest building etc….

Sports is always the good way to promote a country. Let’s look at Brazil….people will automatically link it to football…Samba football…they even created a football playing style….

Malaysia can do the same…government should put more efforts / give supports to players before they are famous…that is the time when they really needed the money/support.

Not only after they become world champion, or going on the way to be world champion, baru kerajaan bagi ni lah, bagi tu lah…right?

I have known many potential players who can make a big splash in international stage. They have to quit their sports to concentrate either on study or started working. Sportsman is not earning the enough money to even support their livings. THey have no choice…See how Malaysia lose out to Australia in the recent Commonwealth. Not that Australian is smarter, but their government gives the full power support to their atheletes….let them have no worries and concentrate on training…that’s how things supposed to work….

Government…let’s do something….who knows one day..Malaysia can started winning goal medals in Olympics….

A Trip To SMM’s Grave:

April 1, 2006

Hey…I received this in my email….but the address is untraceable..i think he/she purposely created an email account to send this..smmtrip@yahoo.com….but its an interesting read…bear in mind that I did not create this myself….It is really nothing near my writing style if you are familiar with this blog…OK…one more thing..don’t take offense if what you did are mentioned…

“Hmm…who the hell just sms me”? When I check on my phone is the message says: “Can u go graduation trip to Bali with minimum budget of 600 not include eat? If not, let me know ur budget n the place u don like to go. Reply asap. Show ur support”. When I read this sms, I knew that things were going wrong once again in our so-called “SMM Graduation Trip”.

I rather say it as Self Achievement Graduation Trip. Well, as for what I concern, I notice that opinions and ideas were flooding during the discussions period. From Phuket to Bali, from Bali to Sabah and Sarawak. Now what? Further ahead? No one will know what is the up coming plan and it may changes any time. Obviously, you don’t wanna go Phuket, u try to master people’s mind to change the initial plan. You don’t wanna go Bali, you voice out your opinion. And with 50 over people in the course, you might get loads of opinions and thoughts. Worse case scenario, no one is responsible for what they said.

An idealist will want to have the best with the cheapest price. Probably like your boss when you work later. But yet, in a real world, no such thing will happen. So please take a note. You do not have a passport and you are looking forward to make a group passport, I think you are dreaming. Some people say he/she doesn’t think of spending RM1000 for beaches…Well, you know the difference why you want to live in a bungalow rather than an old flat? You know the difference between RM2.50 chicken rice and RM5.00 chicken rice. To be very honest, it’s about stature, the standard, the beauty and more…I just don’t know how you guys justify things. Look around you, think…look something beyond what’s inside the box.

With no offence, I presume that everyone graduating is at least 22-24 years of age. Well, I pity for those who still fail to make their own decision and yet dependent of their guardians to give permission on something they are going to do…you guys know what I mean la. But I am not persuading you to breach what is not allowed.

For those who are giving opinions for organizing and looking for packages and suitable locations, credits should be given. However, one thing I need to stress out is that the whole concept is for all course mates to spend the final last few days together and it’s a farewell for every one of us. Please don’t take advantage of this trip for self-achievement purposes…think about all. Organizers, again, I would stress that please take good care of your planning in terms of budget and time management. As for my experience, I don’t believe that RM 1000 can make things possible for S&S. Maybe you can figure out a good way, but hopefully it’s workable.

Last but not least, think about everyone and do not be selfish. We do need co-operations from all course mates and your support what make life in UTM worthwhile.

(the malay candidate asked for only RM1900 for his starting salary…haha)

That's it…

Petrunes Interview

March 31, 2006

Erm…yesterday I went for this Petrunes Recruitment Interview in my campus…I was told to be scheduled at 11a.m. I went there at 10.45am. To my surprise, my name was not on the list. And later they, the officers there, claimed that my name was in the 9am list…wtf….

but anyhow, they slotted me for a 12pm interview. I wasted 1 hour waiting. walan eh..How inefficient are they…

Then, I was given an article on Hunger Problem in this world. This is supposed to be a case study. I wondered why Petrenus allow people to bring in Dictionary? I din do so, but many candidates did, espcially the Ms. Anyway, they must have been hinted to do so in the sunday pre-interview talk. But why in the first place were we allowed to peek at dictionary, aren’t us supposed to be tested? so what is this, open-book meh…obviously helping them lo…

Then after waiting for another 15 minutes, total 75 minutes wasted, I went into the interview room. The first task, discuss on the topic I was given earlier. To my surprise, that guy was too slow in taking notes of what I have mentioned…sigh…
and then his view on the topic is actually quite short…

I commented that the problem of hunger in Africa is due to politics bribery…He asked me how to solve this….Come on lar…even Badawi cannot ease the country’s bribery lar…who am I so noble to come up with a good solution….tiu

Then, the 2nd task, role modelling, I was given a situation where I was the plant manager and my plant was found to be leaking toxic wastes to the nearby stream. The interviewer was the environmental department officer, he ‘obviously’ pushed me to answer that I am willing to close down the plant for 5 days loss of production for them to check out the plant. What I mean here is, when I first answered no, I would not close down the plant, he threatened me with closage of the plant if I was not willing to do so….blah blahblah…

further on, he took on the role as the mayor representative to ask me to supply the local residents with 5 tanker of fresh water since my plant was contaminating the stream….I suggested so many other solutions to him but he kept on rejecting on them…until I finally surrendered. The moment I surrendered, he closed on the topic and ended my interview.

What was he thinking in his mind, was the interview supposed to go in this way or was there some special order from his senior that he must do so to deter me from joining their company. Nobody knows…I really doubted my chance of getting the offer…haha

anyway, I went not because I wanted the job, but I wanted to see how things work there…blueh…truth cannot be hiddened forever….

By the way, I quickly surrendered to him because I did not want to affect my scheduled phone interview by Shell later at 1pm. luckily i made it…Their inefficient time and matters management system nearly costed me a place in Shell…fark..

Singapore Interview

March 29, 2006

Aiya…I was writing half way of my interview day in singapore…but who the hell would be interested in that….so i stopped and changed to this …

Erm…I walked past the Causeway 2nd times in my life..because of the daily traffic jam…and I don’t want to be late for the interivew…but anyway, some of the candidates took bus, I still have to wait for them when I reached Singapore custom..

Well..their office is in Gateway tower…very modern …they just rent a floor lar…

After that, I got my SGD 10…which is the main attraction there…haha

My interview went pretty smooth…but when they asked me what is their core business…I answered I do not know….haha…very kao keong..

Anyway, they tried to explain their business to me…lor…there goes my interview..nothing special…but there is still a third round interview…which I wish they would give SGD 20 next time..greedy //

But one thing that I learnt from the ex-UTM student, who is also the Rig manager is that…he told me that….an ‘Engineering Degree’ is a brand…which proves you have logical thinking skills….wow….that flatters me…so nothing much technical was asked in fact….

Btw…I heard from my friend that there is a 4flat electrical guy among the candidates…anybody know him ar…4flat wor…wonder if he written his GPA or CPA..

Since I was the first one being interviewed, and have to wait until 6pm for the bus heading home, i decided to go back on my own…of course, I managed to do some window shopping at Bugis before going back..

Phew…this is how I earn my money today..

Refreshment paid by Tocean = SGD 10
Burger King = SGD 3.95(why no nit tax one)
SJE (Bugis to JB) = SGD 2.40
Causeway Link (JB to Pulai) = MYR 2.60
Total earnings = MYR 5.40 ….why so little one…

Next, I would like to review the difference between JB and Singapore…in next read lar…lazy now..
